Terms of Service

The usage terms for FontSelf, including licensing responsibility, warranty disclaimers, and how changes are handled.

Use Of The Tool

FontSelf is free to use for personal and commercial projects

FontSelf is provided free of charge for both personal and commercial use.

You may use the downloaded font files and generated CSS output in your own websites, products, client work, and other projects.

Font Licenses

Google Fonts licenses still control the fonts themselves

Fonts made available through FontSelf are sourced from Google Fonts and are subject to their individual licenses, which are commonly the SIL Open Font License.

FontSelf does not grant any additional rights beyond the license attached to each font family by Google Fonts or the font author.

You are responsible for verifying the license terms of each font before use in your project.

No Warranty

The service is provided as-is

FontSelf is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted availability, error-free output, or the long-term availability of any specific generated CSS or download package.

Limitation Of Liability

Use of the tool is at your own risk

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FontSelf is not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from your use of the service or any downloaded files.

This includes direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or business interruption damages.

Changes

These terms may be updated

We may revise these terms at any time by updating this page.

Continued use of FontSelf after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Plain-English Summary

FontSelf helps you package self-hosted Google Fonts, but the license for each font still comes from Google Fonts and the relevant font author. Use the service with that understanding and verify license terms before shipping a font in production.
